Thanks to everyone who dropped cards and/or cookies off at the Homeward office.      December 2009 in Wallaceburg, Ontario, Canada    It was a 'last minute' request from the community to provide Christmas Cards and 'Homemade Christmas Goodies' to the Olympic Torch Relay Team so they would have something to celebrate with as they were staying in a motel room, away from their families, on Christmas Eve and Day.  I received this email from Erin Mathany (niece of John) today:   Hi Betty and Josselynne!   Thank you so so much for providing the amazing treats to our torch relay team. Apparently, the team couldn’t believe that someone thought of them and there were a few tears that night at the hotel. Please pass along our thanks to everyone who came together to make this possible.   I hope you had a wonderful Christmas, all the best in 2010!
